In
the 90’s I lived on Noosa Heads, one of the most crowded
surf breaks in the world. Large ocean swells developing off the
coast of Queensland attract surfers from everywhere - from dawn
till dark. Our camouflaged block of flats would turn into a train
station. Suddenly, long-lost-friends needed a car park. My kitchen
always ran out of milk. The tribal instinct of bad boys as well
as the sweet caress of a glowing afternoon surfing with friends,
inspired this series of ‘surf’ artworks.
